added 26 July 99 MAD Magazine's Wild Wild West parody is in issue #384, August 1999.
The cover depicted a Will Smith as Jim West caricature, but no Kevin as Artemus;
the parody inside of course does have KK as Artie.
Art by Mort Drucker; written by Dick Debartolo.
added 21 July 99 CRACKED magazine, Sept. '99 issue, has a Wild Wild West parody cover,

From New York, October 6, 1997
"The Big Chill"
(Review of The Ice Storm by critic David Denby)
What he had to say about Kevin Kline:
"Kevin Kline is touching -- weightless as always, but with a forced good cheer that just
barely covers Ben's consciousness that he's striking out.
One wants to embrace his Ben Hood, but one loses patience with the character..."

The November '97 issue of Elle magazine (No. 147) has a small pic and a blurb about Kevin:
"Two actors we'd pay to see read the phone book grace the stages at Lincoln Center Theater:
Kevin Kline brings his impeccable timing to David Hare's translation of the early Chekhov comedy Ivanov..."
[Cherry Jones is the other actor mentioned]

From Harper's Bazaar, October 1997. (Review of The Ice Storm is by Richard Rayner, photograph by Wayne Maser).
Here's the Kevin Kline excerpts:
"I don't think this is about an elite enclave of suburbia in the 1970s any more than Oedipus is about one unfortunate Greek," says Kline.
"The themes are regeneration, life and death, love, despair and ennui."
On getting the part:
"My agent called and said, 'There's this script; it's the most harrowing domestic downer," says Kline.
"I said, 'Oh, good, send it along.'"
Rolling Stone's October 16, '97 issue has a review of The Ice Storm and says of Kevin:
"Kline's multilayered performance gets every detail right."
